We don’t miss the details and take the time to wipe noses and straighten hair and clothes so everyone is looking their best!
The first few years of life have so many changes - forming a connection on set with them and capturing that growth is what we love the most. The children’s familiarity with seeing the same photographer every picture day and maintaining that relationship is reflective in the genuine smiles captured in their portraits.
We work closely with the school staff to ensure a smooth and easy experience for everyone. As a small business, customer service is everything to us and we work hard to accommodate any specific needs our schools and parents may have. Our backdrops and props are creative and fun, providing a variety of classic and seasonal portraits for parents to cherish for a lifetime.

They were inspired to make school portraits more than just an impersonal experience and a boring headshot and they soon became one of the top childcare photographers in NC. Hi, I am Emily! I started working as a photographer for Creative Expressions over 17yrs ago. I never imagined I would enjoy it as much as I did ( I mean who really wants to try to convince a hesitant and unwilling toddler to stay still, hold this, look at me!, AND smile, ALL at once) turns out that is me! Yes I am that crazy person. I actually wanted to repeat that process so often that I bought the company in 2022. It has been so special being able to continue the legacy of this small business in capturing all (or almost all;) the kiddos smiles and maintain such wonderful relationships with my directors, parents and their littles.
